Our Process

Our project teams use a four part project methodology: Analyze, Design, Implement, and Test. Each of these project phases is supported through the use of content rich tools and templates which were developed in the field and have direct application to today’s technologies.

Analyze

Our Analysis uses a structured Discovery and Assessment process that catalogues relevant information into a form that is usable throughout the project lifecycle. We believe that it is imperative to collect as much information about the client environment first, and then quantify and communicate this information back to the project team for consensus and clarity. Our audit templates allow us to quickly produce a full report of all IT systems that is integral to the project going forward.

Our analysis then goes further to determine Strategic Requirements, Technical Requirements, and Design Options. At the end of our analysis phase, clients have a very clear understanding of what information systems are most important to their business, and a specific understanding of how their Disaster Recovery, Data Center, or other Systems Architectures should be built.

Design

Our Design phase guides our clients to formulate a solution architecture that is strategically appropriate for them, and is tied closely to the technical requirements gathered during analysis. We reach out to the vendor community to utilize their specific solution expertise as well and understand the latest technologies and trends. Using the best of internal and external project team input, we yield a sophisticated and well understood solution. The design phase is highly educational and facilitates the client to engage a number of processes they themselves may not have familiarity. The design phase also includes a budgetary exercise and executive report which is often used as a tool for CapEx approval.

Implement

Our best in class capabilities in provide project management, facilitation, and technical expertise ensures that our client’s infrastructure is implemented right. We provide certified storage, VMWare, and Project Management experts, and keep a high degree of attention to every step in the development and execution of the implementation plan. Our implementation plans are templatized, as are our processes for project planning, resource management, vendor management, installation, build out, configuration, and all other aspects associated with our projects. If necessary, we augment your team with network and vendor engineers as well.

Test and Document

No systems architecture implementation is complete without proper testing and playbook development. Our testing procedures are best in class and offer our clients a streamlined approach to switching over and back to and from their Disaster Recovery sites. Our test procedures are customized for our clients to ensure they contain information that is specifically geared to helping them test their failover and failback both during their scheduled tests and during actual emergencies. We will step our client through testing their solution so they can have the comfort level and expertise to know they can implement the solution.
